About Shannon

Shannon is the chief human resources officer and is responsible for all aspects of Cooley’s human resource management, policies, practices and operations.

Shannon, who has 30+ years of HR experience, is part of the firm’s senior management team and focuses on meeting the human capital needs of the firm operating in 19 offices across the US, Europe and Asia.

The team she leads handles HR functions for the firm, including business professional and paralegal recruitment/training/development, employee relations and retention, compensation, performance management, workplace investigations, health and welfare benefits, wellness programs, retirement benefits, immigration management, travel services and workplace safety programs. Shannon holds a Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) certification and a Society for HR Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification.
