About Sandra

Sandra supports attorneys and corporate clients in complex transactions for privately held companies across the life sciences, healthcare, technology and consumer sectors. Her experience includes entity formation, venture financings, M&A, strategic exits and ongoing corporate maintenance. She manages formations, capitalization records, corporate governance and deal execution for startups and emerging growth companies and supports venture financings from seed- through later‑stage preferred stock rounds.

Sandra helps clients, including emerging companies, establish strong corporate governance and sound business practices that position them for investor readiness and sustainable growth. She brings clarity, organization and efficiency to complex corporate transactions, partnering with management teams and investors to position emerging companies for financing, growth and long-term success.

Before joining Cooley, Sandra was a corporate securities paralegal at other prominent law firms in the Pacific Northwest. While pursuing her MBA at the University of Portland, she had a microfinance internship in Burundi, Africa. She has returned to Central Africa several times to provide business training to rural and urban business owners and youth.
