Robert Warshaw
About Robert
Robert focuses on general corporate work, with an emphasis on representing private companies of all shapes and sizes in the tech-enabled economy and the venture, growth and private equity investors who back them.
Robert counsels clients in a range of tech verticals, including those with a global footprint, through all stages of the company life cycle – from formation and early financings to late-stage transactions, acquisitions and exits, as well as governance and other day-to-day matters in between. He also works closely with venture capital and growth and private equity funds and public company corporate investors on structuring investments and navigating complex governance issues. In addition, Robert supports incubators and accelerators in structuring company programs and investments.
Before joining Cooley, Robert was an associate in the corporate group of a white-shoe law firm in New York City. In law school, he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review.
