Rob Wu

Rob Wu's practice focuses on patent prosecution and due diligence for medical devices. His clients are active in the cardiovascular, orthopedic, robotic, diagnostic, and radiation oncology fields. He works closely with startup companies on patent portfolio strategy and the development of core intellectual property assets.

Rob also has substantial experience prosecuting domestic and international patent applications relating to a number of diverse technologies including semiconductor memory and manufacturing, telecommunications, computer networks, mobile devices, lasers, virtual machines, virtual/augmented reality, printers, image processing, OLED displays, cloud computing, e-commerce and financial services.

In addition to his prosecution practice, Rob also has experience in post-grant proceedings, patent invalidity and infringement, freedom-to-operate analyses and patentability analyses.

Prior to joining Cooley, Rob was a patent agent at Morrison & Foerster, DLA Piper and Hogan Lovells.
