About Rishab

Rishab’s practice encompasses a wide range of complex business transactions, with an emphasis on M&A, strategic investments, private equity transactions, and related corporate and securities law matters. He also advises high-growth technology companies, founders, and venture capital and growth equity funds on private financings and other strategic transactions.

Rishab has practiced in India, London, New York, Hong Kong and Silicon Valley, and has extensive cross-border experience advising clients on foreign investment transactions in India and Southeast Asia.

Rishab’s representative transactions include advising:

  • NeoPhotonics in its agreement to sell to Lumentum
  • Tilray in its merger of equals combination with Aphria
  • TiVo in its merger of equals combination with Xperi
  • Mindbody in its sale to Vista Equity Partners
  • Byju’s in its acquisitions of Epic and Tynker
  • NVIDIA in its acquisitions of Parabricks and SwiftStack
  • ACell in its sale to Integra
  • Companion Medical in its sale to Medtronic

Rishab is a member of the American Bar Association, and he helps author the ABA’s Private Target Mergers & Acquisitions Deal Points Study. While attending Columbia Law School, he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Rishab is fluent in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.
