About Reece

Reece advises and represents clients in a wide range of complex legal issues, with a focus on issues facing internet and technology companies. His diverse practice includes First Amendment and constitutional litigation, contract disputes, class action defense, securities litigation and product counseling. Reece also devotes significant time to pro bono work, including by advocating for the rights of immigrants and LGBTQ people.

Reece served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michelle T. Friedland of the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to law school, he worked as a congressional staffer and as a national security researcher at a think tank in Washington, DC, and his rich understanding of federal policymaking informs his advocacy for his clients.

  • Representing a public company in a series of high-stakes third-party subpoena responses in state and federal criminal courts
  • Winning dismissal of securities fraud and libel claims against a major company and its chief executive
