About Patrick
Patrick focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, representing a variety of clients. He advises clients at all stages of litigation – including fact development, discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, trial and appeals. He also maintains a vigorous pro bono practice.
While at Washington University School of Law, Patrick gained appellate experience through work with the WashU Law Appellate Clinic, where he was part of a team that won at the US Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Patrick also served as co-president of the school’s American Constitution Society and worked as an articles editor for the Washington University Law Review. In addition, he was the Lois Wood Fellow at Land of Lincoln Legal Aid’s Springfield office, where he assisted in serving clients in need. Patrick graduated cum laude, with a certificate in public interest law.
Before law school, Patrick worked in national and state politics – working in the US Senate, on the campaign trail and in a state legislature. In addition, he spent several years in government relations in Washington, helping clients navigate the tumultuous and ever-changing world of DC.
