About Mystery

The heart of Mystery’s practice is a deep commitment to client service, with a focus on providing practical business and legal advice to her clients.

Mystery represents startup and emerging growth companies, as well as the venture capital funds and institutional investors that invest in them. On the company side, Mystery’s clients turn to her for strategic and pragmatic counsel on a variety of business and legal issues – spanning from formations, venture capital financings and recapitalizations to mergers & acquisitions, foreign “flips,” and general corporate matters – throughout their organizations’ life cycles. Mystery also builds trusted partnerships with her fund clients, whom she advises on investments, internal fund concerns and matters related to their portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Cooley in 2014, Mystery was an Entrepreneurial Fellow at the Silicon Flatirons Center in Boulder, Colorado, where her work related to entrepreneurship and innovations in transactional legal education. She also served as legal intern to Chief Justice Woodfin Jones in the Texas Third District Court of Appeals and to Chief Justice Michael L. Bender in the Colorado Supreme Court.
