Monica Bierman

Monica joined Cooley’s Chicago office in March 2026 and focuses on venture capital fund formations and transactions. Her prior experience includes a range of corporate and securities transactions, corporate formation and maintenance, residential and commercial real estate transactions, mutual fund board meetings and securities disclosure, and, most recently, real estate private fund formations and transactions.

Before joining Cooley, Monica was employed as a paralegal with the global funds group at a multinational corporate law firm headquartered in Chicago.
