About Mona
Mona focuses on general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on representing private and public companies in capital markets transactions. She advises clients throughout the business life cycle on matters including initial public offerings (IPOs), pre-IPO submissions, dual‑primary listings, and ongoing US Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and compliance, with particular experience in US and Hong Kong markets.
Mona’s pro bono and policy work includes comparative research supporting a London-based nonprofit’s consent-law reform efforts across common-law jurisdictions, culminating in a co-authored policy paper on affirmative consent. She also assisted in a workplace harassment matter, helping obtain a successful pre-trial settlement.
Mona served as a judicial fellow at the New York State Supreme Court, supporting the court in complex commercial disputes and bringing a disciplined approach to disclosure, risk assessment and regulatory scrutiny.
Mona is a native Mandarin speaker. She also speaks fluent English and Cantonese as well as conversational Japanese and French.
