About Michael

Michael advises companies at all stages of growth on technology transactions, commercial contracts and intellectual property matters. He works with clients across a range of industries, including AI, adtech, digital health, fintech and sports. Michael regularly counsels clients on both day-to-day commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, data and content arrangements, and milestone transactions such as venture financings, M&A and strategic collaborations.

He also maintains an active pro bono practice through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, advising documentarians, musicians and other creators in New York City on their contract needs.

Before law school, Michael built a career in advertising research and analytics, where he developed a deep understanding of campaign measurement and the advertising ecosystem.

Clients value Michael’s hands-on approach. He invests the time to understand each client’s business model and strategic objectives so that his legal advice is practical and tailored to the deal at hand.
