About Michael
Michael leverages his background in computer science, chemistry and passion for building computers to translate technical complexity into clear, actionable legal solutions for clients.
Before joining Cooley, Michael published a thesis at Trinity University focusing on the relationship between society and the right to repair in a competitive and developing hardware space.
During law school, Michael participated in the Patent Drafting and Oral Advocacy Competition Team in 2024 and coached the team to first place in 2025. He also competed in the Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition Team, which focuses on issues in intellectual property, and served as president of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.
