About Max

Max works with technology companies in class actions, business disputes and regulatory matters. Max has experience with ecommerce, data privacy, data breach, contract dispute, business tort and intellectual property litigation. Max also represents private companies, and their founders and officers, in internal investigations and securities litigation.

Max has litigated a range of appeals before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit.

  • Bumble in intellectual property and business torts dispute with Match (owner of Tinder) and in class action relating to sale of app subscriptions
  • Turo in litigation with San Francisco, Boston, Tampa and Los Angeles airports
  • eBay in class action concerning seller account policies and appeal of demurrer ruling
  • Golden State Warriors in class action concerning data privacy
  • Bank of Hope in data breach litigation

During law school, Max was president of the Trial Advocacy Society. He won the New York University School of Law Oral Advocacy Competition and the Georgetown White Collar Crime Trial Invitational, and he was a finalist in the Skadden Foreign Direct Investment Moot and the Government Law College-Mumbai International Moot.
