About Matthew

Matthew focuses on intellectual property litigation in federal district court, at the US International Trade Commission and before the US Patent and Trademark Office. He has litigated cases involving semiconductor device design and manufacture, consumer electronic devices, software, mobile devices and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Matthew also works on pro bono immigration matters.

During law school, Matthew worked as a student associate for the Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s Intellectual Property Law Clinic, representing clients on intellectual property matters. He also worked overseas as a Milt Stewart fellow in Cambodia, assisting clients with issues related to corporate compliance, labor regulations and intellectual property enforcement.

Before joining Cooley, Matthew worked at a global intellectual property boutique firm.
