Matthew Ritter
About Matthew
Matthew litigates intellectual property matters in federal district court, at the International Trade Commission and before the US Patent and Trademark Office. He has litigated cases involving semiconductor device design and manufacture, consumer electronic devices, software, mobile devices and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.
While pursuing his legal degree, Matthew worked as a student associate for the Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where he gained experience representing clients on intellectual property matters. Matthew also worked overseas as a Milt Stewart Fellow in Cambodia, where he assisted clients with issues related to corporate compliance, labor regulations and intellectual property enforcement.
Before joining Cooley, Matthew worked at a global intellectual property boutique firm.
