Maricel Mojares-Moore

Maricel Mojares-Moore is special counsel in the credit finance and debt securities practice groups. Her practice is focused on various financing transactions, including acquisition financings, "high yield" and other subordinated debt financings, public and private offerings of convertible and other debt securities, asset based financings, secured financings and lease financings. She is experienced in the representation of emerging companies, public companies, individual investors, venture investment funds, banks and other financial institutions in the negotiation, structuring and documentation of such financings.

Prior to joining Cooley, Maricel was an associate at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd in Chicago, Illinois where her practice focused on acquisition financings, real-estate based financings, mergers and acquisitions and public and private offerings of high yield and other debt securities. Prior to working with Bell, Boyd, she spent a year as an international tax accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Chicago, Illinois. She is also a certified public accountant.
