About Mari

Mari focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and investigations, representing clients ranging from startups to industry leaders across a broad spectrum of sectors. She advises clients at all stages of litigation – including fact development, discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, trial and appeals. Mari also maintains an active pro bono practice.

While at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Mari gained litigation experience by working in the Center on Wrongful Convictions, as well as the Complex Civil Litigation and Investor Protection Center. She also externed for Judge Joan Marilyn Humphrey Lefkow of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Mari graduated magna cum laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Before law school, Mari spent three years as an engagement manager at a fast-growing software company and two years in management consulting at a large consulting firm. She leverages these client-facing and business-focused experiences in her law practice.
