About Margaret
Margaret Fischofer’s practice focuses on the representation of innovative clients in connection with patent counseling, procurement, enforcement, licensing, diligence and technology transfers. Maggie counsels clients across a variety of technological sectors, including consumer products, medical devices, cybersecurity, e-commerce, and clean energy & technologies. In addition to working with industry-established clients, Maggie counsels early stage companies on developing a patent portfolio strategy that maximizes their resources.
Maggie received a graduate fellowship to attend William & Mary Law School, where she was a member of the Moot Court Team, an officer of the Student Bar Association, and President of the Christian Legal Society. Maggie also was a student judicial clerk for U.S. Magistrate Judge James E. Bradberry of the Eastern District of Virginia, and a student intern at the Richmond (VA) Adult Drug Treatment Court. During law school, Maggie studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and Tokyo, Japan.
