About Mandy

Mandy Kondo focuses her practice on the formation and operation of private equity funds, venture capital funds and alternative investment funds as well as associated operational and regulatory activities.

During law school, Mandy forged a new internship with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre where she provided legal research, and drafted keynote speeches, portions of an historical article on alternative dispute resolution in Hong Kong, and proposals for rule amendments. Mandy also pioneered a transactional law externship with the North Central Group, a property management and investment firm, working closely with its general counsel.

Mandy holds a political science degree from the University of Chicago. Upon her graduation, she completed a Congressional National Parks internship, spending half the year working in a Congressional office in Washington D.C. and the other half of the year working with the policy team at Yosemite National Park.

Prior to law school, Mandy garnered extensive international experience. In Tokyo, Japan, Mandy worked at a top international firm as a corporate recruiter focusing on financial institutions in Tokyo, and she also lived, worked, and studied in Indonesia, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Mexico.
