About Leo
Leo is an associate in the Cooley Technology Transactions Group. He works with companies to whom data and technology are critical parts of their ongoing day-to-day operations. Leo combines sound commercial judgment and strong legal acumen when advising his clients.
Leo’s experience includes advising on:
• Data privacy. Legal and structural advice concerning product, software and/or service launches or restructurings; as well as investigation of novel data leveraging practices. Leo has a particular expertise in working with US based clients seeking to launch their offerings in the UK and/or EU.
• Software licensing. Working on various inbound and outbound licensing deals for both high-growth and established businesses. Leo works regularly on deals involving data and information security products.
• Consumer law. Consumer law compliance advice concerning product, software and/or service launches or restructurings, including preparing necessary contractual documents. Working to manage clients through regulatory investigations.
• Acquisitions and investments. Commercial, intellectual property and data privacy advice relating to various acquisitions and investments.
