About Kevin
Kevin is a skilled litigator who guides companies and individuals through complex civil litigation, criminal proceedings and government investigations. He has worked with clients from a range of industries – including technology, renewable energy, healthcare and life sciences. Kevin has experience with all stages of litigation and has helped secure appellate victories in high-stakes cases, obtained critical pretrial rulings, taken and defended depositions, served as a trial lawyer for an app-based technology company, and negotiated favorable settlements. Kevin also maintains an active pro bono practice and recently helped secure a positive outcome for an indigent civil rights plaintiff.
Before joining Cooley, Kevin practiced in the Chicago office of a national firm. While there, he represented a voting technology company in high-profile defamation litigation stemming from media coverage of the 2020 US election. Before that, he served as a law clerk to Judge Travis R. McDonough and Judge Harry S. Mattice Jr. of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. During law school, Kevin gained experience with federal litigation and regulatory work through the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic.
