Kathryn Sorenson
About Kathryn
Kathryn represents clients in commercial litigation. She also provides strategic, detail-oriented counseling to clients navigating high-stakes business decisions. In addition, she maintains an active pro bono practice.
During law school, Kathryn served as a legal fellow for the UCLA Voting Rights Project, an interdisciplinary research center aimed at creating an accessible and equitable system of voting for all Americans through impact litigation, research and education to expand access to the ballot box. She also served as an editor for the UCLA Law Review. In addition, she was a research assistant for professor Lauren van Schilfgaarde, supporting a comprehensive analysis of state and federal taxation of Native American tribes.
Before law school, Kathryn served in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. She also worked as a policy specialist, assisting clients in their efforts to enact social justice-driven laws in the Oregon Legislature.
