Karen Velez

Karen advises emerging and high-growth companies throughout all stages of the corporate life cycle, from formation to exit. Karen counsels clients on entity formation and day-to-day governance and guides them through a variety of transactions, including venture financings and mergers and acquisitions. She also advises venture capital investors on financing transactions and other matters.

Before joining Cooley, Karen was an associate in the New York office of a global law firm, where she represented private and public companies in a wide range of corporate matters.
