About Karen

Karen represents clients in complex civil litigation and government investigations. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Shen returns to Cooley after serving as a law clerk to Justice Dalila Argaez Wendlandt of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. In law school, Karen was a member of the Boston University Law Review, served as a student attorney in the Immigrants’ Rights and Human Trafficking Program, competed in the Homer Albers Prize Moot Court Competition, and directed the Edward C. Stone Moot Court Competition.

Before law school, Karen spent time working in Kyoto, Japan, through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program, and in Beijing, China, with a private company.
