Joy Chow
About Joy
Joy advises clients across a range of industries and at all stages of their life cycles on commercial, technology and intellectual property (IP) transactions. Her practice focuses on counseling, structuring, drafting and negotiating complex technology and IP-driven agreements, including services, licensing, reselling and strategic commercial arrangements with key customers, developers, manufacturers, suppliers and channel partners. She also supports clients in broader corporate transactions, including M&A, venture capital financings and other strategic growth initiatives.
While at Columbia Law, Joy served in the Mediation Clinic and on the board of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She also was a James Kent scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar. Before law school, Joy built and operated a hotel business property in Laguna Beach, California.
