Joseph Stewart

Joseph is a trusted advisor to private and public companies at all stages of growth on corporate matters, including formation, financing, M&A, corporate governance, and US Securities and Exchange Commission reporting obligations.

Joseph graduated in the top 5% of his law school class in 2025 and was an editor of the school’s law review. Before joining Cooley, he interned at the Family Law Facilitator’s Office, located within the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego, helping pro se individuals navigate the California court system. He also interned as a law clerk at the US District Court for the Southern District of California, where he reviewed and briefed more than 30 cases for his presiding judge.
