About Jordan

Jordan focuses on the drafting and prosecution of biotechnology patent applications, as well as assisting in the preparation of freedom to operate and patentability opinions.

Jordan has extensive technical experience in immunology, antibody therapeutics, and in vivo disease modeling. Since joining Cooley, Jordan has worked with companies in assessing and securing intellectual property rights in the areas of biologics, DNA sequencing, CRISPR-mediated gene editing, and oncolytic viral therapies.

Jordan's doctoral work focused on elucidating mechanisms of innate immune regulation in allergic asthma and parasitic infections, focusing specifically on the role of epithelial cell signaling and barrier function. She has co-authored numerous publications appearing in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, The American Journal of Pathology, and Mucosal Immunology.
