Jonathan Gonzalez

Jonathan practices general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on representing startups and venture capital firms, as well as other institutional investors. He counsels emerging growth and public companies through all stages of their life cycle, from pre-incorporation planning through private venture financings, public company offerings, M&A, corporate governance matters, and Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and compliance.

While at Cornell Law School, Jonathan received multiple dean’s list recognitions, as well as the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in a Negotiation and Facilitation Seminar. He served as president of the California Law Students Association and as online editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy, publishing numerous articles through The Issue Spotter, its online arm. He also was a member of Cornell’s Entrepreneurship Law Clinic.
