Jon Margareten

Jon advises startups and emerging growth companies, particularly in technology and life sciences, on venture capital financings, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. As both a legal and business advisor, he addresses the many challenges clients face as they move through the company life cycle.

Jon is a certified public accountant in the state of New York. Before joining Cooley, he was vice president of operations at CRL Advisory, helping clients optimize strategies in areas including operations, logistics and supply chain management. Previously, Jon worked at KPMG as a senior associate in the company’s financial services department, advising large banks on regulatory requirements.

In law school, Jon served as a staff member on the Fordham Journal of Corporate & Financial Law.
