Dr. Johnny Kozlowski

Johnny focuses his practice on patent prosecution, counseling and diligence for chemistry and life sciences clients. Leveraging his unique combination of technical experience in both natural and computer sciences, Johnny works with clients to prosecute domestic and foreign patents at the forefront of interdisciplinary innovation.

Before joining Cooley, Johnny obtained his doctorate in chemistry from the University of California, Irvine. His doctoral research primarily focused on the development of computational chemistry methods for more accurate and efficient modeling of molecular systems. During his time as a graduate student, Johnny interned as a resident research scientist at a multinational technology company, where he worked to repurpose advanced machine learning hardware for applications in quantum chemistry.
