About Jinyoung

Jinyoung represents major technology companies in complex commercial disputes, class action defense and affirmative litigation. She has experience advising financial institutions, nonprofit organizations and other entities on a range of civil and criminal matters, including cross-border disputes and government investigations. She also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on criminal defense and civil rights.

Before joining Cooley, Jinyoung clerked at the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. During law school, she served as an editor of the New York University Journal of International Law and Politics. She also participated in two government clinics supporting federal prosecutors in the Criminal Division of the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York and the Civil Division of the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
