Jimmy Zhao

Jimmy represents emerging growth companies, publicly traded companies and global investment banks, particularly in the technology, media and telecom sectors. He advises clients on matters, including US and Hong Kong capital markets transactions, initial public offerings (IPO), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and compliance, and general corporate matters.

While in law school, Jimmy was an executive editor at Tsinghua China Law Review. 

Jimmy’s recent representative matters include:

• Advising Lingyi iTech on its HK$8.27 billion H share IPO and dual listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX)
• Advising China International Capital Corporation and China Galaxy International as joint sponsors and the underwriting syndicate on Seres Group’s HK$14.28 billion (US$1.8 billion) H share IPO and listing on the main board of the HKEX
• Advising PATEO CONNECT Technology (Shanghai) Corporation on its HK$1.07 billion (US$137 million) IPO and listing on the main board of the HKEX
• Advising MetaLight on its HK$242 million IPO and listing on the main board of the HKEX
• Advising Bitdeer on its US$150 million SEC-registered offering of 8.50% convertible senior notes
• Advising various emerging and public companies on confidential US IPOs, ongoing SEC reporting and compliance, and general corporate transactions
