About Jason

Jason represents clients across the telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) industry in various transactional and regulatory matters before the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and state and regulatory agencies. He also has experience advising clients on licensing and regulatory matters related to wireless, wireline and satellite operations.

Before joining Cooley, Jason was an associate at another international law firm, where he assisted clients in the TMT industry on various transactional and regulatory matters. He has worked to obtain regulatory approvals for transactions involving FCC-regulated entities and guided clients through FCC enforcement proceedings. He also was part of a team engaged in overseeing the cost-related aspects of the highest-grossing spectrum auction at the time.

During his studies at American University Washington College of Law, Jason was the president of the Communications and Media Law Society, and his comment analyzing FCC regulations of children’s television programming was published in the school’s Administrative Law Review. He also interned with the FCC’s Media Bureau, a national broadcaster and a major telecommunications carrier.
