About Jared

Jared practices general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on representing emerging and high-growth companies through all stages of their life cycle, as well as advising venture capital firms and other institutional investors. His practice covers a variety of general corporate and transactional matters, including venture financings, corporate governance, fund formation, public company offerings, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting and compliance, and M&A.

While attending law school, Jared served as senior articles editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal and as associate editor for the California Law Review. During law school, he also interned in the San Francisco regional office of the SEC as part of the private investment funds group in the Division of Examinations. Before law school, Jared served as a tank and cavalry officer in the US Army.
