About Jamie
Jamie partners closely with emerging growth companies from their earliest stages of growth through exit events, as well as the venture capitalists, corporate venture groups and other investors that fund them. She advises her clients on entity formation and multiple fundraising and financing methods, including angel, venture capital, friends and family, growth equity and strategic investments. She also counsels on board matters, equity compensation and other corporate legal issues.
Jamie’s clients span innovative and high-growth industries, including cleantech, proptech, agtech, edtech, software as a service (SaaS), artificial intelligence and machine learning, mobile applications, hardware and devices, food and beverages and life sciences. She also works frequently with university and institutional spinouts and regularly advises social companies and social purpose entities.
Jamie also serves as a trusted advisor to family offices, providing guidance on investment transactions and helping clients navigate the unique issues that family offices face.
Before earning her MBA and JD, Jamie graduated from Seattle University, where she received a full athletic scholarship and was an NCAA Division I intercollegiate athlete on the women's basketball team. As an advocate for diversity and inclusion, she is dedicated to supporting diverse entrepreneurs and investors.
