
About James
James Dionne helps startups, established fintech companies, and financial institutions understand how innovative technologies interact with complex regulatory frameworks. He regularly advises clients on money transmission, lending, and privacy requirements related to the offering and operation of financial products and services.
James has worked with clients on matters related to the Truth in Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Electronic Fund Transfer Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. He has also helped clients navigate government investigations and with various transactional matters.
While in law school, James was an editor of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology, operations director for the extramural moot court team, and a member of the appellate litigation clinic.
