About Jacob

Jacob has extensive experience litigating and counseling employers on trade secret matters, wage and hour issues, California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions, claims involving wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment, and other employment-related disputes. He has litigated cases in state and federal courts, as well as single and mass arbitrations. Jacob develops a unique, individualized strategy for each case he handles.

While attending Berkeley Law, Jacob served as the speakers editor for the Berkeley Journal of Employment and Labor Law, bringing top practitioners and academics to Berkeley to speak on cutting-edge labor and employment topics. During law school, he also interned in the employment division at the California Department of Justice. Before law school, Jacob studied history at UCLA, graduating summa cum laude with both college honors and highest departmental honors. He went on to study at Oxford University as an Oxford-Swire Scholar (full scholarship), where he obtained a master’s degree in history. Jacob is fluent in Spanish.
