About Isha

Isha focuses her practice on patent litigation matters in federal district court. She handles matters across a range of technologies – including small molecule drugs, biologics, medical devices and more. Her experience extends to all aspects of litigation, from presuit counseling to trial. She has represented clients in venues throughout the US, including California, Delaware and North Carolina, and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the US International Trade Commission.

Isha has a JD from Columbia Law School, where she was an editor of the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review. She also provided pro bono services to clients as a member of Columbia’s Domestic Violence Project. Before joining Cooley, Isha served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Richard G. Andrews and Judge Maryellen Noreika of the US District Court for the District of Delaware.

Before law school, Isha received her Bachelor of Science in cell biology and molecular genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park. She also interned at the National Cancer Institute, where she studied T-cell activation pathways in vivo.
