About Isamar

Isamar focuses on complex business litigation. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

At Columbia Law School, Isamar participated in the Lawyering in the Digital Age Clinic and helped a nonprofit integrate technology to improve case management and client engagement. She was also a Davis Polk Leadership fellow, in which capacity she co-developed a digital privacy and social media literacy guide designed to empower low-income and limited-English-proficient communities amid increased government surveillance. As a NY Pro Bono scholar, she spent her final semester of law school providing legal services to immigrants seeking humanitarian relief.

Before law school, Isamar worked with the US Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, supporting international justice and rule-of-law programs. She also assisted with the deployment of a cloud-based data-sharing platform designed to modernize how the US Department of Defense elements of the Intelligence Community share and analyze intelligence information. Earlier in her career, she held internships at the Obama White House, the US Agency for International Development, the US Senate and the US Department of State.
