About Isabella

Isabella advises and defends clients in high-stakes litigation and investigations. Her practice spans complex commercial litigation, class action defense, regulatory investigations and compliance, privacy and data security, constitutional and civil rights disputes, and emerging issues in artificial intelligence. She practices in federal and state courts, arbitration tribunals and appellate courts nationwide, and has handled matters through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit investigation and complaint filing to discovery, motion practice, and trial.

Isabella also maintains a robust pro bono practice. She advocates for reproductive rights in the aftermath of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, litigates civil rights cases under Section 1983 and helps safeguard access to lawful gender-affirming care for transgender youth.

Before joining Cooley, Isabella was a litigation associate at a different international law firm. In law school, she served on the editorial board of the Stanford Technology Law Review, conducted research on how cryptographic and decentralized web solutions can advance international human rights litigation, and externed at the American Civil Liberties Union of Northern California. Prior to law school, Isabella was an associate producer for “VICE News Tonight” on HBO, a nightly news show previously airing in Brooklyn, New York.
