About Hugh

Hugh is a litigator with a practice focused on complex commercial disputes and government investigations. He has represented clients ranging from early-stage startups to international financial institutions in state and federal court and in matters spanning contract, tort, antitrust, bankruptcy, post-merger litigation and related appeals.

Hugh received his JD from Duke Law School, where he was executive editor of the Duke Law Journal. Before joining Cooley, Hugh was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell and served as a law clerk for Judge Robin L. Rosenberg of the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida and Judge Sarah A. L. Merriam of the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
