About Gordon

Gordon focuses on corporate and securities law. He acts as outside corporate counsel for growth-stage companies, helping management teams establish and maintain a corporate and governance structure that will enable rapid growth throughout the life cycle of the business. Gordon counsels both private and publicly traded companies on a full range of transactions and matters, including equity and debt financings, IPOs and other securities offerings, strategic corporate relationships and joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. He advises companies and their boards of directors on a wide range of securities, financial reporting and disclosure issues, SEC and exchange reporting and compliance, and corporate governance. Gordon also represents a diverse set of investors in connection with their financial and strategic investments in innovative technology and life sciences companies. Gordon also assists management and investors to facilitate secondary sales and liquidity opportunities. Gordon counsels companies in a wide range of industries, including software, life sciences and healthcare, energy innovation, fintech, mobile and digital media.

Gordon was recognized as a Top 25 Clean Tech Lawyer in California by The Daily Journal, and selected on the AlwaysOn Power Player legal list. Gordon serves as chairman of the board of Prospect Silicon Valley, a technology development and demonstration center partnering with the City of San Jose and leading technology companies to catalyze the validation and commercialization of next generation urban systems and transportation innovation. Gordon also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA), a leading Silicon Valley technology business network focused on promoting the success of US and Asian technology enterprises. He is a frequent presenter, moderator and speaker at various trade and technology events in Silicon Valley and beyond.
