Georgia Robbins

Georgia focuses her practice on patent preparation and patent prosecution. She has a multifaceted technical background, with an emphasis in medical devices, wearable devices, neuromodulation technology, sensor and monitoring technology, implantable devices, life sciences, imaging and microscopy.  

Before joining Cooley, Georgia worked as a neuroscience researcher, investigating technology-focused interventions to treat mental illness. She has clinical experience administering transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy to treat patients with depression and bipolar disorder.

For her master’s thesis, Georgia designed and built a custom widefield microscope with optogenetic stimulation capabilities in order to conduct the first-ever bilateral calcium imaging experiments of mouse auditory cortex.
