Gary Warren Hunt III

Gary focuses his practice on regulatory and transactional issues related to global privacy and data protection. His practice involves advising clients on US and international privacy laws and helping them establish comprehensive and pragmatic global privacy compliance programs. He works with clients on various privacy and cybersecurity-related advisory matters, including incident response preparedness, response and remediation, and privacy-friendly solutions related to consumer marketing and behavioral advertising. 

Gary also has extensive experience advising clients on data privacy and security and intellectual property risks in corporate transactions, including pre-acquisition valuation, post-acquisition integration, and other restructuring activities in connection with spinoffs of business lines or divisions. He is certified as an Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
