About Fernando

Fernando is a litigator focusing on an array of cases at every stage of litigation. He maintains an active pro bono practice.

During law school, Fernando served as a student attorney for three semesters at Harvard’s Consumer Protection Clinic, where he led dozens of debt collection defense cases and took approximately 15 of them to trial in Massachusetts state courts. As co-president of Harvard’s Tenant Advocacy Project, he oversaw a student-run law firm focused on representing Boston-area tenants in public housing matters. During his second year, he interned for Chief Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts. In his final year, Fernando served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard Latin American Law Review, a journal dedicated to highlighting legal issues impacting Latinx communities across the globe. He also served as a teaching fellow for Harvard’s Trial Advocacy Workshop.

Before law school, Fernando worked for four years at a leading plaintiffs’-side employment firm, supporting cases through every stage of litigation and ultimately managing the legal assistant team during a 99-day trial in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Diego.
