
About Ethan
Ethan is a creative litigator who represents companies, nonprofit organizations and individuals in complex civil and commercial disputes, arbitrations, and government investigations. He also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on criminal defense.
Before joining Cooley, Ethan completed a four-month fellowship serving as a law clerk to Judge Lorna Schofield of the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. He received his JD from Columbia Law School, where he was a research assistant to professor Jamal Greene, an editor on the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems, and worked on post-conviction proceedings and appeals on behalf of death-sentenced clients.
