Etenish Abebe

Etenish is an associate in Cooley’s technology transactions practice group, where she advises clients on a broad range of commercial and intellectual property (IP) matters. Her practice centers on negotiating agreements involving software, data and IP, and guiding clients in protecting and commercializing their core technology assets. She also provides support on the IP and technology aspects of M&A transactions, venture financings and strategic partnerships. Etenish served as note editor of the International Law Journal and as a student attorney in the Compliance Policy Clinic at Boston University School of Law. She also held leadership positions in the Black Law Students Association and Women of Color Collaborative.
