About Erica
Erica has more than a decade of experience representing a broad range of clients in connection with domestic and cross-border restructuring transactions, both in and out of court. She has provided advice to domestic and foreign debtors, creditors’ committees, individual creditors (both secured and unsecured), court-appointed examiners and third-party purchasers of distressed assets. She is well versed in representing clients in cases involving debtors in the financial services, pharmaceutical, telecom, aerospace, energy and real estate sectors.
Her recent notable engagements include representing official creditor constituencies in Mallinckrodt, LTL Management (Johnson & Johnson), and Whittaker, Clark & Daniels, as well as company-side representation in the Chapter 11 cases for PhaseBio Pharmaceuticals, Lucira Health and Pharmapacks. Erica also served as counsel to defendants in adversary proceedings arising from the Bernard L. Madoff* and FTX bankruptcy cases.
During her tenure at Washington and Lee University School of Law, Erica was the lead articles editor for the Washington and Lee Law Review and has been a contributing author for several restructuring treatises.
