About Ellie
Ellie focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, cross-border issues, and media and technology litigation. Ellie has represented clients across a range of industries – including tech, publishing and healthcare – and advises on matters involving copyright, privacy, defamation and contract disputes. With experience spanning high-stakes litigation and cutting-edge legal issues, Ellie brings strategic insight and a clear, persuasive approach to every matter. Ellie has experience handling all stages of litigation, from pre-suit advising through trial, and she has secured victories for her clients at every stage.
Prior to entering private practice, Ellie was a law clerk on the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the US District Court for the Central District of California. She earned her JD from Columbia Law School, where she served on the Columbia Law Review, earned national recognition in moot court, and completed extensive pro bono work surrounding human rights and immigration issues in Yemen, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Syria.
Before law school, Ellie was a Fulbright scholar in Bosnia-Herzegovina and worked in the international development and national security space. Ellie maintains an active pro bono practice, including on issues related to human rights, immigration, reproductive justice and housing.
