About Elias
Elias represents clients in high-stakes commercial litigation. He joined the firm after clerking for Judge Daniel J. Calabretta of the US District Court for the Eastern District of California and Justice Kelli M. Evans of the Supreme Court of California.
Elias graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he was a supervising editor of the California Law Review and articles editor of Ecology Law Quarterly. As a law student, he also served as a co-president of Berkeley Law Queer Caucus and student director of La Alianza Workers’ and Tenants’ Rights Clinic.
Before becoming a lawyer, Elias was a Peace Corps volunteer in central Mexico, where he developed environmental education programs for rural communities in partnership with the Mexican federal government. He later worked as a communications consultant for an agricultural research center near Mexico City.
