
About David
David focuses his practice on developing and implementing comprehensive patent portfolio strategies for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and other life science-related companies. His work includes patent preparation and prosecution, strategic patent counseling, and intellectual property due diligence.
David’s doctoral research at the University of Arizona – which focused on the molecular and cellular aspects of nociception and pain management within the central nervous system – resulted in several scientific publications. He performed additional academic research at the University of Arizona as a student and as a research technician in the fields of immunology, neuro-entomology, physiology, chemistry, and nutrition.
David also has experience within the biotechnology startup space, where he contributed to exploratory studies concerning blood diagnostics for neurodegeneration, and participated in other company aspects, including fundraising, marketing and intellectual property.
